Proffesional teeth whitening lasts longer, as well as the dentist makes sure he uses good quality products. Teeth whitening kits aren’t that great – they only last 2-4 months and they actually cause discolouration in your teeth after they wear out.
i tried the crest night effects nighttime whitening expression when it first came out (idk if they even still make it)…i didn’t think that it worked at all (it seemed like my saliva washed it away and it didn’t really stay on).
a few months ago i got custom bleaching trays and gel from my dentist – it worked amazingly well! depending on where you live it doesn’t cost that much (i got the trays and 4 syringes of the gel for $50). i (and others) noticed that my teeth were whiter after 1-2 nights.
as for the pro. appointments (like ZOOM whitening) i think they work really well too. i, personally haven’t tried it but have known some people that have. it does cost a little more and is really quick (after your 15ish minute appointment you can tell)
honestly i would go with the bleaching trays from ur dentist. yes, it takes a little more time than the ZOOM whitening but i think the results are just as good (and if you have really stained teeth, you do this after ZOOM whitening any way to help maintain it)
